Slapp - an Icelandic social network
A social network designed specifically for Iceland. Share moments, stay in touch and keep up with what is happening, all in one place.
Slapp is a social network made for Icelanders, by Icelanders. Every single user is a real person with an Icelandic national ID number. That is how we create a trusted community where real people connect.
Share your life
Post photos, tag friends and use polls to start a conversation. You choose whether to share with everyone or just your circle of friends.
Chat that works
Direct messages and group chats with replies, reactions and sharing. You can then plan meetups and events right inside the chat.
Groups with real people
Create or join groups around your interests. Open groups are available to everyone, while closed groups let you create a more personal space. Each group has its own wall, discussions and roles.
Your day
Share daily updates, a photo and a short note, to show the people closest to you what you are up to right now. Simple and personal.
Real people -> No bots
Every Slapp account is verified with an Icelandic national ID number. No bots, no fake accounts, just a genuine community of real Icelanders.
